You're more than a walking uterus

Let me ask you something: How exactly does “biological sex” has any effect in real life? Because, for example, in sports, blood testosterone levels are much more influential than body shape, and interestingly, testosterone levels in an average trans woman's body are lower than in the average cisgender's.

And in medicine, even if the people in the discussion here were doctors (which, statistically speaking, I am convinced most are not), a trans woman on HRT has more of a medical resemblance to a cis woman than to a cis man. She should be tested for breast cancer. She should talk to a women's endocrinologist.

And as for the bathroom, well, once every time you enter a bathroom, you will be terrified that people will notice your “irregularity” and then, at best, yell at you that you do not belong there, and while you f***ing urinate you listen to the noises around to see if something has changed and you need to get into defensive mode, come back to me.

Really, there are only two things where assigned gender might actually matter, which are during sex and with reproduction. And the truth is, in the first case, there are many trans women that you cannot distinguish from cis women in bed, and regarding the second, there are many cis women that you cannot distinguish from trans women in their reproductive abilities.

If feminism has taught us anything it's that women are more than just a walking uterus. If you disagree with that, I think you should reconsider if you really are a feminist.
